On July 28, 2026, Mark Su officially began collecting petition signatures to secure a place on the ballot for the February 2027 Chicago mayoral election.
Over the past several weeks, Mark Su has been traveling throughout Chicago—meeting and greeting residents and voters on the South Side, West Side, and North Side. He is listening directly to Chicagoans, discussing the issues affecting their families, neighborhoods, businesses, and communities.
The petition drive is more than collecting signatures. It is an opportunity for Mark Su to meet Chicago voters face-to-face, hear their concerns, and talk about his vision for the future of Chicago.
As a longtime Chicago citizen, community activist, small-business owner, media worker, father of a CPS student, and former congressional candidate, Mark Su believes Chicago’s future must be built by listening to working families and communities across the entire city.
From the South Side to the West Side and North Side, Mark Su is taking his campaign directly to the people.
